Our final mounting system is a free-standing or floor mounting system. Here you have your connector, this system is designed so that the support comes up from your floor and you don’t have to involve your ceiling structure at all. Over here you can look at the base plate, it is 12 inches by 12 inches square and has a hole on all four corners that should be braced to your floor for safety purposes. You can see that there is a square peg that allows the column to slide over it-that’s how that’s installed. The column then extends up in varying heights, maxing out at 12 feet. Once your column is installed on the base plate, the connector or split supports slide in from the top and you’re ready to go.
