More information on our 3 Industrial Curtain Wall Enclosures:

Option #1:

Floor-to-Ceiling Soft Wall Enclosure

  • The most economical industrial curtain enclosure option
  • Uses your existing ceiling, which allows you to work around your sprinkler system, and keeps your lighting and obstructions in place.
  • Enclosure access points (entry/exit) easily added.
  • Depending on whether you require stationary or retractable curtain walls, the slope of your ceiling, and the positioning of any ceiling obstructions, we may need to provide a filler panel above the track system, which includes a valance to hide the track system view from the front.

*May require filler panels to seal open trusses to optimize edge sealing.

Floor to Ceiling Enclosure

Option #2:

Suspended Soft Wall Enclosure

  • Clear reinforced material  for the ceiling cover, allowing your existing lights to shine through effectively.
  • 90° Curves or Corners are available.
  • Your existing ceiling structure must support the ceiling grid and perimeter of the enclosure.

Option #3:

Free Standing Soft Wall Enclosure

  • Up to 12′ in height
  • Needs a floor upright every 5′ to support the track system.
  • 90° Curves or Corners are available.
  • Depending on the square foot size, you need to support the ceiling grid from the building structure above.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big can the enclosure be?

It can be custom tailored to your ceiling height and as wide you have room in your facility to support the hardware structure. We have made enclosures up to 35′ H x 120′ W x 60′ D.

You should consult with your local authority to determine if a permit is required for your project. They can also guide you on whether a structural engineer is needed to assess if the existing ceiling can support the load of the enclosure, particularly if you plan to suspend a track system or ceiling grid.

Based on the cleanroom level you require, we fabricate the top and sides using our standard hardware, primarily 16-gauge galvanized steel. If you provide the overall dimensions of your frame, along with the cutout locations for your filtration and ventilation systems, as well as entry and exit points, we can create a custom airtight wraparound solution designed to fit your frame.

More: For reference, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) defines cleanroom classes based on the maximum allowable particle concentration per cubic meter of air. These levels range from ISO Class 1 (the cleanest) to ISO Class 9 (the least stringent, similar to typical ambient air).

Can I create a different temperature area or zone with a curtain wall enclosure?
Yes, depending on the temperature difference you want to achieve, we recommend using one of our 5 levels of insulated curtain walls. To maintain the conditioned air, we will ensure that the enclosure is equipped with all the necessary accessories to make it airtight.
Absolutely! We offer  4 levels of sound-dampening and sound sound-blocking curtain walls. To achieve the best results, we will need to know the size of the enclosure you want to build, as well as the decibel level and the frequency of the noise. Based on this information, we can recommend tailored solutions to enclose, dampen, and separate the noise effectively.
Depending on the application we can offer the following options:
  • Clear or opaque Strip Doors, that overlap for maximum closure, available in 8″, 12″, and 16″ width.
  • Retractable curtain section with or without a 10″ overlap in the center.
  • Zipper access.
  • Vertical magnet closure.
  • Single or double BUMP/SWING DOORS
  • Barn Door entrance, which would require additional track hardware.
