When installing heavy duty curtains, there are plenty of industrial curtain track systems to choose from…
Our experienced sales team knows the pertinent points to cover to ensure a safe and efficient installation of the industrial track and trolley hardware.
Made for heavy-duty use, AmCraft’s curtain hardware combines resilience with functionality. Our hardware is designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial environments, while also providing seamless operation.
The Industrial Curtain Roller systems allow the curtains to be moved out of the way. Either to one side or the curtain can split in the middle and can be retracted to either side. The industrial curtain roller systems support all our curtain types. Even heavy insulated and acoustic curtains. The standard industrial curtain track systems are 16 gauge galvanized steel and also available in 12 gauge and stainless steel.
AmCraft Manufacturing Takes Pride in our Excellent Customer Service, our Quality Driven processes, and our consistent On-Time Delivery.
The weight that a track system can withstand without bending (called “deflection”) increases when you shorten the distance between support points. This is primarily done by using shorter track sections for heavier loads. Our Load Chart, available under “Specifications” on this website, shows a matrix of weight limits for evenly distributed loads and for loads concentrated at a single point midway between supports.
Our sales team will ensure that the track configuration we provide can support the curtains you purchase from us.
We recommend using 5-foot track sections whenever possible for three main reasons:
16 gauge electrogalvanized steel.
Yes, we offer a ceiling-mount track connector and split support with a flat surface designed for attachment to flat ceilings or the underside of beams. Please ensure that your mounting surface is wide enough to accommodate the plates.
Note that fasteners for attaching to the ceiling are not included.
Since we are offering multiple industrial heavy duty mounting tape systems, we will help you choose the best track system for your retractable industrial curtain project.
In some cases, the designated industrial curtain area may have a sprinkler system that is within the vicinity of the industrial curtain wall system. It is commonly required that the warehouse curtains are suspended a certain distance below the sprinklers or spaced exactly between two sprinkler heads, allowing the sprinkler system to function successfully in the event of a fire. To get further details on building ordinances and fire codes, please contact your local fire marshal authorities to see what fire codes you are required to follow.
We would need the lowest and highest distances from the floor to where you mount the industrial roller track, which is most likely the bottom of your I-Beam or Truss.
Most buildings have ducting, pipes, or other obstructions to work around. There are two ways to work with the obstructions: You suspend the warehouse curtain track hardware below the lowest obstruction or you stop a curtain section before an obstruction and continue on the other side of the obstruction with a new curtain section. If the obstruction is a small diameter pipe, you can connect the two curtain sections above and below the pipe. If you have a bigger obstruction, such as an air duct, we would cut out on each of the curtains to allow the ducting to go through the curtain. With single layer curtains, we recommend that all field cutting be done in the field, upon installation. With thermal and acoustic insulated curtains, that recommendation may change. We offer patch tape to seal up all field cuts.
