Beam-Chain Track System

The

beam & chain mount tracking system

offers multiple installation options. You can mount the flange directly to ceiling structure via the three holes, either to the side of a wooden beam or to the sides of a Unistrut. When doing this, the existing structure you mount to has to be level. In this scenario, the existing structure(s) need to run perpendicular to the industrial curtain track hardware run, as the flange atop the connector and split support is oriented that way, and cannot be rotated.
If you plan to suspend the beam mounting tracking system use chain, slotted angles, or Unistrut. This would allow you to support the track from a sloped ceiling structure. For suspensions of 6 ft. or less, we recommend using the threaded rod mount system. However, if you need to suspend the track system down further than 6 ft., the aforementioned suspension hardware is required. It is important to note that a longer drop usually necessitates the use of bracing for the suspension hardware to stabilize the beam mount tracking system.

Parallel mount between the existing leveled structure

One additional way to use the Beam/Chain mount system is to run the industrial curtain track hardware parallel to, but in between existing level structure. In this scenario, Unistruts need to be run perpendicular to the roof structures at 5 ft. intervals. The Beam/Chain connector or split support can then be attached to the side of these Unistrut pieces.

At AmCraft Mfg, we believe that proper installation is essential for achieving optimal functionality and aesthetic appeal of the chain mount tracking system. That’s why we provide our customers with detailed installation instructions. To ensure your curtains fit seamlessly into your space, it’s important to make sure that the top of the track is installed at the intended height, which can be found in our quotation. Additionally, our curtains are designed to hang 1″ off the floor, which creates a 1″ gap. This gap can be closed by attaching a replaceable floor sweep which provides you with an air tight edge.
